Some photos from May 2012 - probably the last time we saw sunshine!

The sunshine made the rapeseed positively glow; it also brought out the insects!





Today we went for a (long) walk. First down over the canal to the town centre.



Then along the canel side for about an hour.



You can still see the evidence of the rain and localised flooding.





Then we strolled through the Bluebell Woods.







They were definitely past their best, but it was nice to see them before they all disappeared for another year.

Then it was home for lunch, followed by a trip to the garden centre, and some gardening as well.
