New York 27th October 2013
We left Pennsylvania on the Sunday morning and completed our journey to New York. After travelling 1,091 miles since we arrived ten days earlier we handed the car back to Alamo at Newark and Robin and Erin came to pick us up.
We had lunch in Brooklyn, visited a Sunday market and then finally it was time to get on board the Queen Mary 2 for our voyage home.
This was our second trip with Cunard and I loved that when we went on board they said 'Welcome back'. A nice touch.

We were due to sail at 5:30 pm but the inbound flight from the UK was delayed so we didn't leave until after 8:30 pm which meant that we got to see the New York skyline by day and by night.
