froodnetGettysburg was amazing. No other word for it. We had an incredible day, visiting the museum, seeing the various video presentations and then touring the battlefield and actually visiting the spots where the various troops had been arrayed.
The following day we visited the town itself, saw the houses that still have the pock-marks from bullets in the brick work and bought souvenirs. One of the highlights of the trip to the town was finding a real American diner (just like in the movies) and even better, a train went past! That made Hugh's day!
