A slide show of Pompeii from two weekends ago. I was in Naples for a conference and the Chair of the committee I'm on, arranged a visit to Pompeii on the Sunday morning. It was very, very wet but fascinating.

Things to look out for:- the brothel, the ruts in the roads worn by thousands of cartwheels, three amphitheatres, the 'snack bars' (recessed dishes in counters), rain. More rain.
