Holiday Update 5 - Proof that we're nuts!

We arrived at PortAventura (a Universal Studios Theme Park in north-east Spain) on Monday evening, checked in, and booked dinner in one of their rather nice restaurants, but more about the hotel later. After a very nice meal, with champagne and red wine, we went into the theme park, and I will confess to not being entirely sober. That was probably just as well because this is where we went next.

We went on this, just before midnight. It was absolutely fantastic! And we did again at 10 o'clock the next morning just prove it wasn't purely alcohol fueled bravery. We spent the rest of the day riding on rollercoasters - some of which I swear, re-arranged my internal organs and left my brain temporarily in the stratosphere. *g* (Makes a change from the gutter anyway!)
The hotel was pretty, and connected directly to the park which was a bonus. The downside was that the beds were the hardest I've ever slept on, the queue at guest services took 40 minutes to reserve a table for dinner, and the organisation of breakfast was an utter shambles. I'll post more pictures when I can get an internet connection that doesn't crawl at a snail's pace.
I 'borrowed' the photo above from a website - I can't upload my own yet!
