Today was Hugh's birthday.

He was out for a while this morning so Alexander and I went to the supermarket to buy a cake. I've been in Scotland again, so I didn't have time to bake one. We couldn't find anything really appropriate so Alexander suggested a compromise. Buy the football cake and make it into a golf ball. Genius! We hurried home, carefully removed the black hexagons, and then Robert and I added the dimples using the end of a chopstick. Luckily I had some 'writing icing' in the cupboard so we added the logo too!
